Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a highly organized individual who takes pride in maintaining and improving our facilities and equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including custodian work, light handyman services, inventory management, organization, property management, and cleaning and maintaining heavy machinery. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our facilities are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and light repairs of the facility and equipment.
• Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
• Manage and organize inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Efficiently organize various areas within the facility to optimize space utilization and workflow.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of property assets, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Undertake the cleaning and maintenance of heavy machinery, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory levels, and equipment condition.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, light handyman services, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of maintenance protocols, safety standards, and the operation of heavy machinery including Quads, UTV’s, Tractors, Skid Steers, and Pickup Trucks.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with team members and external partners.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
